I GREEN INITIATIVE

Today’s estimates show that 60% to 80% of Earth’s free oxygen is derived from phytoplankton/algae within

fresh and saltwater sources.  A second critical aspect of photosynthesis is the extraction  of CO2 from  the

air, which diminishes the present greenhouse gas imbalance. Earth’s rainforests normally provide the

balance of this life sustaining process.

There is little debate that ocean and atmospheric temperatures are rising beyond the capacity of natural

recovery systems.  Oceans and entire eco-systems appear to have arrived at the precipice of an irreversible

collapse as a consequence of excess green house gasses and rampant destruction of

wildlife habitat.

Priorities of the Green Initiative focus upon, but are not limited too, the following three areas of interest.

Reforestation

Conservation

Management of  critical wildlife sanctuaries.

We cannot escape the inevitable if we do not change. In the words of  the world renowned environmentalist David

Attenborough.  “Support Bio-Diversity - Go wild”.
