I HERITAGE FUND
In Canada, the function of the Heritage Fund is to provide recognition and reward for people particularly, eye doctors, who
have contributed to the founding of the Celebration of Sight Initiative, and to match bursaries that they receive with funding
for local charities.
Internationally, the Heritage Fund will focus upon advancing the field of vision science and supporting sustainable eye care
services. As operations of the Celebration of Sight escalate, activities of the Heritage Fund will complement the development
of the 2020+ Campaign along with it’s Affiliates and corporate Strategic Partners.
The impetus behind the Heritage Fund is to showcase the joy of liberating people from vision impairment and to stimulate
a new and captivating mindset for sharing and celebrating together; perhaps the New Normal?
